Veteran services

Military honors,
arranged with the respect they earned.

Every branch. Every era. From World War II to the most recent deployment. Our directors have walked this paperwork hundreds of times.

"On behalf of the President of the United States, the United States Army, and a grateful nation — please accept this flag as a symbol of our appreciation for your loved one's honorable and faithful service."

What we coordinate

Everything that a veteran's family
should not have to figure out.

Flag folding and presentation

A folded flag presented to the next of kin, in the traditional thirteen-fold ceremony, by uniformed military personnel.

Honor guard coordination

Two or more uniformed service members from the veteran's branch — playing of Taps, rifle salute where requested. Arranged at no cost.

VA burial benefits paperwork

VA Form 21P-530, DD-214 verification, and reimbursement filings. Done by us. The family signs at the end.

East Texas Veterans Cemetery

Coordination of burial at the Lyons View or Gov. John Sevier cemeteries — both no-cost to eligible veterans and their spouses.

Memorial flag and shadow box

Display case for the folded flag, service medals, and unit insignia. Custom-built locally. Optional.

Headstone or marker

VA-provided headstone for grave markers — bronze, granite, or marble. We file the application and coordinate placement with the cemetery.

Who qualifies

If they served,
they almost certainly qualify.

Active duty, National Guard, and Reserves with at least one day of active service generally qualify for some level of military funeral honors. Discharge under conditions other than dishonorable is required.

Bring the DD-214 if you have it. If you do not, we can help track it down through the National Archives — it usually takes about ten days.

Veterans of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam: paperwork from those eras is often incomplete. We know how to work around it.

If they served,
we will see to the honors.
